How do you build trust in the American media for skeptics?
American mistrust in the media is at an all-time high with 47% of people finding it hard to know if the information they find is true. So, we’ll change the way news is delivered.
The New York Times will make the news a two-way conversation with an experiential exhibit that allows the general public to speak to people who have lived through the stories we read every day, proving the validity of the Times reporting through lived experiences.

The Execution
The exhibit features a framed series of photographs from New York Times articles. Highlights from the articles are placed on the wall next to the photograph. Articles are selected to be representative of some of the most controversial and misunderstood news stories in the American media.
When a viewer says a controversial and incorrect statement in front of the photo, the photograph will rise to show a live feed of a person who's witnessed the story.
The viewer and the framed expert will be able to openly discuss the New York Times story.
